World Travel Market, London 2023

World Travel Market is one of the biggest global B2B Travel fairs and a fantastic opportunity to meet with tour operators from all over the world and to boost our presence in the industry by having a Norway stand. There will also be lots of talks by experts from across the globe on current topics within the travel industry like new technology and sustainability as well as trends in the market.

But prices are increasing every year and so it is important for us to get an understanding of what our Norwegian partners wish to prioritize for 2023 and if they wish for us to have a Norway stand. We would be right next to Iceland and Finland (if they will participate), so somewhat of a Nordic stand.

The main purpose for this event is to maintain your local network and get new contacts from all over the world.

Who is this activity for?

• Already have some network & market knowledge
• Already have a very good network & market knowledge

Type of companies: 

Activity companies, carrier, destination, hotel chain, incoming operator – regional, incoming operator – national

At WTM buyers are looking for anything and everything. Many come by the stand wanting to learn more about a particular area or theme (like northern lights or the fjords) so it is very good for regions and destinations to attend. We do not encourage smaller companies and hotels to participate as it is too niche for such a huge fair. A big responsibility lies on the Norwegian company to actively reach out to tour operators beforehand and fill their own schedule.

Who are the buyers?

Tour operators, travel agencies, independent agents

In addition to the buyers recruited by WTM, we will invite all our British tour operator contacts and send them a list of all participating Norwegian partners at the stand so they can reach out to the ones they wish to meet. Where relevant, our colleagues will send invitations to their markets.

Technical information

Price: not determined yet for 2023. In 2019, the price was GBP 3100.- for 1 table and 2 participants / GBP . 
We are expecting an increase for 2023.
The price will also be determined on whether we will have a Nordic stand or a Norwegian stand. We are in dialogue with Nordic countries at the moment, and hope to get this settled before Christmas.
