Description

The Norwegian Workshop in Spain 2025 will take place in Madrid and Barcelona.

The objective of the workshop is to create an arena for Norwegian tourism companies to network with new and potential clients, to promote and sell their products. The objective of the B2B event is to brand Norway and Norwegian destinations and suppliers among the Spanish travel trade, and to extend the knowledge about Norway among the travel agencies.

Norwegian food will have a special focus during the event.

We expect to have around 40 buyers in each city.The event will be organized with a platform to arrange prebooked appointments.

Who is this activity for? 

Level of experience
We highly encourage companies with or without an existing B2B network and experience, whether they are relatively new to the market or already possess strong market knowledge.

Type of company
All types of company are encouraged to attend this activity. 

Types of products and season:

We encourage providers that have corresponding products to attend: 

• Can promote sustainable travel / slow travel / electrical travel
• Offer outdoor soft activities
• Can promote activities / products on showcasing the Norwegian cultural heritage
• Have focus on local food / Norwegian food treasure
• Have focus on Sami culture

Seasons: all seasons are to be promoted, but tour operators are especially asking for Summer. 

Language requirements: it is not required for participants to speak Spanish but it is an advantage.

Who are the buyers?

Type of company invited to attend:

We will invite tour operators, travel agencies with own product, travel agencies working with groups, high-end travel agencies.

Our criteria for selecting the participants will be that they already work with Norway or have the potential to start working with Norway.

We will prioritize high-end and sustainable tour operators and travel agencies.

Technical information

Price: 
Madrid: EUR 1300.- per company, 1 person. EUR 150.- for an extra person from the same company. 
Barcelona:  EUR 1300.- per company, 1 person. EUR 150.- for an extra person from the same company. 

Package deal Madrid & Barcelona: EUR 1500.- per company, 1 person. EUR 300.- for an extra person from the same company.

Travel costs 

Maximum/minimum persons:
Minumum 10 companies in Madrid and min.10 in Barcelona.
If we do not reach the mininum number, the activity will be cancelled.
