USTOA is the leading association of tour operators in the United States. Their annual conference brings together all of their nationwide membership into one place. The US travel industry is heavily geographically distributed. USTOA Annual Conference presents the best possible opportunity to meet with the whole of this important industry segment in one place.
USTOA spans four days of programming including inspirational general sessions, and meeting marketplaces. Meetings are all pre-booked through USTOA’s platform. Unlike many shows, here the buyers have the booths, and suppliers move around to visit them. This means no booth building or decorating is necessary from suppliers, making this one of the most cost effective shows to meet with North American tour operators. Despite the “US” in the name, USTOA members include both American and Canadian tour operators. This year’s show will take place in National Harbor Maryland, easily accessible to those flying into Washington DC.

Who are the buyers?
the buyers attending this event will be entirely large US and Canadian tour operators. Active Membership in USTOA is onerous, requiring tour operators to put US $1 Million into a escrow account for shared liability. As a result, only large influential companies can participate. USTOA has roughly 150 “active” (tour operator) members. Roughly 750 “associate” (supplier) members also participate.

On top of membership, the cost to register to the conference itself is roughly US 3000.-

There are no minimum or maximum for this activity, but be aware that the conference usually sells out by mid- September, so you must plan accordingly.

Suppliers can become USTOA members at any time after 1st of January at USTOA.com.
Membership requires referrals, of which IN can assist.
Registration to the conference itself opens around July 2025 and typically sold out by September.
