Sustainability Lab Spain 2023

Description

The idea is to create a Sustainability Lab and networking event, to facilitate knowledge exchange and networking between the Norwegian regions and companies which are actively working towards sustainability and Spanish regions, companies, tour operators and/or experts.
The event will be divided in three different parts:

• A workshop in which participants will be able to meet personally and discuss individually about their products and needs and also where suppliers will be able to show their products to the local travel trade.
• An event with presentations and round tables from experts both from Spain and Norway who will provide the Norwegian and local partners with knowledge and tools about different opportunities when dealing with sustainability. The event will also be an inspiration for the workshop and for the participants.
• Seminar. There will be different seminars and presentations within the event.

The main purpose of this event is to increase your knowledge of the market & getting ideas for product development.

Who is this activity for? 

This activity fits to the providers that:

• Are new to the market
• Already have some network & market knowledge
• Already have a very good network & market knowledge

Type of company: 

Activity companies, attractions, carriers, destinations, hotels, other accommodations, incoming operator – regional & national.

In this event we will only present sustainable destinations and sustainable products and activities. The condition to participate will be to have at least one sustainability label. We encourage to participate activity companies working with activities related to local food and local culture, sustainable hotels, companies offering sustainable activities, sustainable transportation means, etc. Incoming operators can only participate if they have a sustainability label (or in the process of getting certified),  a sustainability focus and sustainable products in Norway.

Who are the buyers?

Tour operators, travel agencies, event agencies, independent agents

We will be inviting tour operators with a sustainability approach or tour operators who are planning to work more with sustainability in Norway in a near future. We will invite also travel agencies producing their own products and MICE agencies if they are sustainability oriented.
