The Nordic Workshop is the perfect opportunity to get in touch with selected tour operators in the French and Italian market. In 2024, the following co-organisors will be Promote Iceland, Visit Finland, and Visit Denmark.
The objective for this workshop is to increase business in Norway and Nordic countries by creating new key contacts in the French adn Italian tourism industry as well as a way to meet established contacts and clients to strengthen business and think new opportunities.

In France, the theme for the workshop will be "sustainable travel in the Nordics". We will include destination presentations for the tour operators highlighting how the Nordics work with sustainable travel and how the tour operators can use that to their advantage. A market insight on the French market with focus on sustainable travel and evening dinner will also be included for the Norwegian partners on the 18th of March.

The goal is to have around 60/80 buyers registering for the event covering the complete range of the product (leisure groups and individuals, activities such as hiking and biking, winter and shoulder seasons but still giving a strong focus on sustainability.

Who is this activity for?

The activity fits providers that:

- Are new to the market
- Already have some network & market knowledge
- Already have good network & market knowledge

Type of company:

Activity companies, attractions, carriers, destinations, hotels, other accommodations, incoming operator – regional & national.

This event targets mainly the leisure market (both groups and FIT), some MICE.
It is very suitable for suppliers with new products and suppliers offering sustainable and nature based products/activities.

In France, suppliers must focus on the theme sustainable travel when presenting their products. We need suppliers who can:
-Showcase/sell a large variety of products covering one or several regions within Norway.
- Inspire new agents and tour operators to sell Norway as a destination.
- Inspire agents and tour operators who already sell Norway to offer sustainable products and extending the season.

Who are the buyers?

Tour operators, travel agencies, event agencies, independent agents, OTA

We will invite both tour operators already specialized in our destination and those looking for new ones (i.g. Norway).

Italy: Main focus on all the tour operators programming Norway, the Nordics or Northern Europe to offer them new products and new seasons. Strong focus on those working on sustainability, activities and food.

France: We will also look for buyers looking for:
-Improving their trips to Norway to make them more sustainable.
-New products / ideas to include in their programs
-Extension of the season

Technical information

Price:
France: EUR 1450.- per company, 1 person. EUR 150.- for an extra person from the same company.
Italy: EUR 1600.- per company, 2 persons.
