Nordic Workshop, USA 2025
Workshop
Description
The 4th annual Nordic workshop will take place the week of 6 October in New York and two yet-to-be-determined cities in North America (candidates include Los Angeles, Seattle, Toronto, Denver, and Boston).
The Nordic workshop brings together suppliers from all seven Nordic countries to meet with buyers (operators and agents) from across North America. The event is managed by The Nordic collaboration, with all seven Nordic tourism boards participating in the planning and execution of the show. Buyers can expect 15 pre-set meetings in each city, plus a period of open networking, and a social event to meet additional buyers informally. This event is the largest Nordic focused travel-trade event in North America and draws considerable interest from buyers engaged in selling The Nordics.
Supplier participation is typically very competitive. Norway can bring 10 suppliers however we typically have over 40 express interest. Participating suppliers are selected such that Norway can represent itself with a good mix of market-appropriate and geographically diverse products.
This year the Nordic Roadshow timing will correspond with the 200th anniversary of Norwegian immigration to the United States. Considerable special events will surround this anniversary, including a gala dinner in New York City the night of 9 October hosted by the Norwegian Consulate.
Those suppliers participating in this activity will also have the opportunity to join in the bicentennial celebration activations.
