OTD is the leading exhibition and conference for the Norwegian energy industry. Attracting around 500 companies and up to 20,000 visitors from more than 30 countries every year, it is the perfect platform to showcase and discuss solutions for a sustainable future.
Founded in 1999, OTD has grown steadily every year. As a meeting place for professionals in the oil and energy business, this trade fair is all about business innovation, knowledge sharing and networking. Industry representatives gather during two days to showcase new products and services, monitor the competition, recruit new employees, meet customers face to face and close sales.
With lots of networking events, there are plenty of opportunities to expand your industry contacts and distribution network. Recurring events include the BusinessHub, where suppliers have a chance to meet buyers, and OTD Students, which includes separate student events that exhibitors and visitors are welcome to join.

Excellent facilities and value for money
OTD alternates between Stavanger and Bergen, two cities with excellent event facilities. In Bergen, the fair has taken place at Sotra Arena, a multi-purpose sports complex with 12,000 square metres of exhibition space located just 15 minutes from the city centre.
In 2021, the event is hosted by Stavanger, which has particularly close ties to Norway’s oil and energy industry. The chosen venue is Stavanger Forum, one of the largest conference centres in the country. With 30,000 square metres of exhibition space, Stavanger Forum has organised fairs for up to 60,000 people.

Fun concepts and collaborations for sustainability
This year, OTD will introduce several new and exciting concepts and collaborations. The evening before the trade fair kicks off will be devoted to two events that will give OTD a whole new dimension. The Wednesday evening will end in style with concerts at the Energy Show taking place at the DNB Arena, only a 5-minute walk from the main venue. There will also be an Energy Gathering at Clarion Hotel Energy with a buffet and drinks.
"We want to create a common experience where our customers can enjoy themselves, mingle and build relationships. This is a great opportunity for those who want a proper show, but also for those who want a calm and nice conversation with other trade fair participants," said Torbjørn Olufsen, Project Director at OTD Energy.
