  • Company profile as a Norwegian shareholder in the IMEX online system
  • 1 appointment schedule/1 person at the Norwegian stand
  • Welcome dinner for all Norwegian suppliers Monday evening, the day before the fair starts.

Background & Goals 

IMEX is one of the most important international trade shows for the MICE segment. Innovation Norway / Visit Norway has therefore chosen to be present at IMEX with a Norwegian stand where Norwegian partners can buy a place. At IMEX, you meet international buyers through pre-booked meetings. It’s an efficient way of meeting a lot of qualified buyers within a short period of time. The fair has its own hosted buyer program and decision makers from around the world participate. Visit Norway runs its own destination presentations for the hosted buyers at the Norwegian stand and we also bring our own Chef, serving the customers local food from Norway.

Buyers from all industry sectors come to IMEX to plan and book everything from high-end incentives to huge association conferences. Through the IMEX meeting system, you can pre sort the customers that are most relevant for you to meet before sending your meeting requests. This means that the fair suites for most kind of Norwegian MICE suppliers, if you fulfil the criterias for attending Innovation Norway’s international B2B activities.

If you have not worked with the international MICE market before, this is a great arena to test the interest for your product towards international buyers.

STATUS

Organised by a 3rd party. The organiser has temporary postponed the fair to October 19th-20th - Innovation Norway will consider to attend with a small stand on behalf of the Norwegian MICE industry.  


Background & Goals 

The Meetings Show in London, is an international fair, attracting a mix of international and UK buyers (approximately 50/50). Innovation Norway/Visit Norway has attended this fair several times with Norwegian suppliers, and have experienced an increase in the interest of Norway as a destination and Norwegian products. Innovation Norway / Visit Norway has therefore chosen to be present at The Meeting Show with a Norwegian stand where Norwegian partners can buy a place, also in 2020. You meet buyers through pre-booked meetings, an efficient way of meeting a lot of qualified buyers within a short period of time.
