Ambitions

  • This activity will help us reach out to the relevant tour operators we wish to work with in the long term.
  • This activity will help up educate the local travel trade in the direction of our strategy.
  • This activity will help generate sales and help the Norwegian tourism industry get back on track quickly after 2 years of the pandemic
  • This activity will help the Norwegian tourism industry develop the right products for our international guests, by keeping up with the market situation
  • This activity will help the Norwegian tourism industry to adapt its products to our strategy and get an understanding of how to implement changes in a B2B perspective.

Sustainability

We will strive to use as many recycled or sustainable furniture and services as possible.
We will avoid the use of printed material as much possible.
We will incentivize the use of public transport.

Mainly targeted towards the leisure market (both groups and FIT), some MICE. Very suitable for destinations with new products. Suppliers with new products.

English is fine, but knowledge of Italian will be an advantage.

We will invite mainly tour operators, some MICE operators and travel trade (B2B) press. We will also focus on all the tour operators programming Norway, or potentially interested in the Nordics.
Strong focus on those working on sustainability, activities and food.

Activities

  • Event

The Be Nordic Day will be a networking event with the aim to give the opportunity to physically meet the Italian B2B network, foster relationships and create new ones.
During the event, the participants will have the opportunity to both gain an overview of the new tourist strategy and to meet Norwegian partners who can suggest new products/services in line with the strategy. The final goal is to increase business in leisure travelling by creating new key contacts in the Italian tourism industry as well as meeting established contacts and clients to strengthen business.

The goal of the event is to meet around 50 relevant buyers covering the complete range of the product (leisure groups and individuals, activities such as hiking and biking, winter and shoulder seasons)
