Background & Goals

The purpose of this activity is to create an inspiring arena where British tour operators can come from across the country to London for a full day of pre-booked, match made meetings with Norwegian suppliers who have travelled from Norway.
The purpose is also for the Norwegian business to learn about the UK market on the Market Forum Day, the day before the workshop.

The goal is to:
Achieve a good balance between buyers and suppliers to insure a quality meeting arena
Satisfaction rate of more than 95% from both suppliers & buyers
Insure the participation of new buyers, which will be followed closely in order for them to include Norway in their product portefolio

Type of activity

Workshop & seminar

With so many participants a workshop with pre booked meetings works best in our experience. It is also important for Norwegian suppliers to learn and get an update from the UK market, which we will give them as we offer a half day seminar with speakers, the day before.

Who is this for?

  • Activity companies
  • Attraction
  • Carrier
  • Destination
  • Hotel
  • Other accommodation
  • Incoming operator – regional
  • Incoming operator – national
We have a wide range of tour operators coming from all across the UK. It is vital that the Norwegian suppliers have got websites in English and that they can follow up on requests promptly. In the UK we see a raise in requests for high end products!

  • Tour operator

For this event we will accept tour operators who are serious and relevant for introducing or adding Noway products in their portfolio. We target tour operator from all across the UK and many travel very far to come to this workshop.

Background & Goals

This is an opportunity for Norwegian suppliers to meet with buyers from all over the world. Staged annually, WTM London 2019 is the leading global event for the travel industry. It is a unique opportunity for the whole global travel trade to meet, network, negotiate and conduct business under one roof.
Innovation Norway will be exhibiting at World Travel Market 4-6 November at ExCel London, this year with renewed stand design. Like last year, we will share the stand with Finland, Iceland and Iceland Air. Innovation Norway will coordinate the Norwegian stand in 3 different categories and invite you to meet key contacts and decision makers from all over the world throughout the days of the event.
The goal is to have 14 companies on the stand.

Type of activity

B2B Fair

World Travel Market is an opportunity to meet with buyers from all over the world for 3 days under the umbrella of Norway, and Scandinavia.

Who is this for?

  • Activity companies
  • Carrier
  • Destination
  • Hotel
  • Other accommodation
  • Incoming operator – regional

At this fair suppliers will meet buyers from all over the world. There is a good amount of buyers who will be introduced to Norway for the first time, for that reason, smaller suppliers benefit from participating under the umbrella of their region, if possible.
All participants must have English websites and be ready to give quick response to requests after the show.

Type of clients:

  • Tour operator

For this activity we will be targeting British tour operators who we already know, and where we see potential for adding new season products by sending them an invitation to our stand. Suppliers book their own meetings beforehand and there will also be a lot of drop ins at the stand. There will also be a lot of journalists and bloggers at this event and we do our best at the 'information desk' to filtrate and see who is relevant and who is not.
