Background & Goals
During this day of competence, we want to give you relevant knowledge of the German speaking travel trade market and help you to get in touch with relevant tour operators and sales agents. Besides aiming actual market insights, networking will be an important part of this day. This event will be held in Hamburg.
The focus areas in the talks are planned to be on culture tourism, sustainable tourism, active tourism and whole year tourism offers. A networking dinner will also be a part of this arangement. Our goal is to invite 6 tour operators and travel agents working within culture, sustainibility and active tourism.

We wanted to offer an event with open, personal athmosphere and experts, who like to share their knowledge about the German speaking travel trade market with Norwegian suppliers. Suppliers will have the possibility to gain more market insight and a better understanding for the travel trade industry in the German Speaking market and can extend their network.

Tour operators/experts/travel agents with long expertise in selling Norway and new tour operators from DACH market will be invited to meet Norwegian suppliers. The selected tour operators/expertes/travel agents will have expertise and/or new ideas in tourism to Scandinavia/Norway and in the different focus areas – culture tourism, sustainable travel, active holidays or shoulder season.

Background & Goals
With these Travel Trade Sales Sessions we do offer a possibility to connect with selected sales agents working in a travel agency on the DACH markets. We offer direct contact to travel agents selling Norway to their customers.
During the event the partner can present his products to 10-40 travel agents, depending on location. These events will be organized in cooperation with touroperators who will help us to pick the best selling / most interested agents. It could be of an advantage to do the 15 minutes presentation in German language. This new offer will be at least held 3 times in different German cities in 2020. Besides the Norwegian partner there will also be another destination presenting 15 minutes to the travel agents and the touroperator will also take 15 minutes – this means that the event is not exclusive for you and for the travel agent it is more attractive to participate because he/she learns about different destinations/products on one evening.

We wanted to offer direct contact to travel agents to get a good understanding for the sales channel and to give knowledge to people who actively asked for more background information about Scandinavian / Norwegian products. The tour operators that we will cooperate with for these events have a big interest in helping the sales agents to get a better understanding for how to sell Norway to their customers.

Travel agents with long expertise in selling tourism products on the DACH market and with success in their travel segments are invited to join in the Travel Trade Sales Sessions. The selected travel agents will have shown interest in selling (more) their customers more travel products to Scandinavia/Norway.
