During thisdayofcompetence, wewant to giveyou relevant knowledgeoftheGermanspeaking travel trade market and helpyou to get in touch with relevant tour operators and sales agents. Besidesaimingactualmarketinsights, networkingwill be an important part ofthisday. This eventwill be held in Hamburg.

The focus areas in the talks areplanned to be onculturetourism, sustainabletourism, activetourism and wholeyeartourism offers. A networkingdinnerwillalso be a part ofthisarangement. Our goal is to invitetour operators and travel agents workingwithinculture, sustainibility and activetourism.

Suppliers should be professional, have experience and interest in theDACHmarket and must activelycommunicate in English.

Background & Goals

With theseTravel Trade Sales Sessions we do offer a possibility to connectwithselected sales agents working in a travel agencyontheDACHmarkets. We offer directcontact to travel agents selling Norway to theircustomers.
During
theeventthe partner can present his products to 10-40 travel agents, dependingon location. Theseeventswill be organized in cooperationwith touroperators whowillhelpus to pickthe best selling / most interested agents. It could be of an advantage to do the 15 minutespresentation in Germanlanguage. This new offer will be at least held 3 times in different Germancities in 2020. Besidesthe Norwegian partner therewillalso be anotherdestinationpresenting 15 minutes to the travel agents and the touroperator willalsotake 15 minutesthismeansthattheevent is not exclusive for you and for the travel agent it is more attractive to participatebecausehe/shelearnsabout different destinations/productsononeevening.

Wewanted to offer directcontact to travel agents to get a goodunderstanding for the sales channel and to giveknowledge to peoplewhoactivelyasked for more backgroundinformationabout Scandinavian / Norwegian products. The tour operators thatwewillcooperatewith for theseevents have a biginterest in helpingthe sales agents to get a betterunderstanding for how to sell Norway to theircustomers.

Dependingontheselectedtour operator and his specialization (segments and target groups) the Norwegian suppliersareinvited to take part in theTravel Trade Sales Sessions. Weencourage all suppliersthatneeddirectmarket feedback to register.  Suppliers should be professional, have experience and interest in theGermanmarket and must activelycommunicate in German (or Englisch). Products do have to be bookable for travel agents in Germany.
