Welcome to #MeetInNorway in Tromsø 25th – 27th September 2024
At the workshop you will meet suppliers from all over Norway and you will get the opportunity to experience what Tromsø has to offer as a meeting and incentive destination. In addition, we will offer a FAM-trip to Longyearbyen, Svalbard. The combination of Tromsø and Longyearbyen will give the participants a great experience and knowledge about the arctic part of Norway.
About Tromsø
Tromsø lies 69 degrees north and is Northern Norway’s largest city. For those of us fortunate enough to call the Arctic capital home, there is no better place to live. We’re lucky enough to enjoy not one, but two natural phenomena every year – the northern lights and the midnight sun; two wonders of nature which light up our lives, with a backdrop of the amazing arctic nature, literally on our doorstep. Tromsø really is a year-round destination.
The city has a rich cultural life with city cafes and bars, always enjoyed both by the locals, students and travelers. Internationally recognized restaurants serve up cuisine with produce sourced from local farms and fisheries, with a range of arctic dishes hard to find anywhere else. Unique cultural events, filling the city with people from all over the world. The nightlife is filled with the excited chatter of people re-living their latest experience – although you really need to try it firsthand to truly understand.
The workshop in brief
At the workshop you will meet suppliers from all over Norway and you will get the opportunity to experience what Tromsø has to offer as a meeting and incentive destination. We promise you a fruitful stay in Tromsø and Norway!
We aim to bring together about 25 Norwegian suppliers from all over the country; destinations/convention bureaus, DMCs, activity providers, hotels, and venues.
The workshop will be held at Scandic Ishavshotel, a well-known conference hotel located by the seashore in the city center.
We are looking forward to welcome you to this fascinating Arctic part of Norway!

Wednesday 25th september
Individual arrivals to Tromsø airport and transfer from the airport to city center Check-in at the hotel. Some participants will be accommodated at Scandic Ishavshotel and some will be accommodated at Radisson Blu Hotel. The hotels are located only in 1 minute walking distance from each other.
We will host a welcome reception at Polaria Arctic Experience Center, including a guided tour with focus on sustainability, climate, and the ocean space. You will also be served some snacks and something good to drink.
After the reception, we will take a short walk from Polaria Arctic Experience Center to BRIM Explorer, a distinguished maritime company, offering silent, sustainable, and innovative sea experiences. After a presentation from BRIM Explorer, we will be served a 3-course dinner.
Thursday 26th september
09:00 – 17:00 - B2B workshop at Scandic Ishavshotel, including lunch
18:00 – Culinary walk in the city center of Tromsø 20:00 – Dinner at Maskinverkstedet
Friday 27th september
08:30 – 12:30 – The participants will get the opportunity to explore incentive activities in Tromsø, before leaving for the FAM-trip or go back home.
